2006 20th Anniversary Silver Reverse Proof Eagles feature an obverse (heads) design by Adolph Weinman. Featuring a full-length depiction of Liberty walking with the right hand extended and laurel and oak branches in the left. The reverse (tails) features a design by John Mercanti, featuring an eagle with shield, clutching an olive branch in it's right talon and arrows in the left talon.
Anniversary Silver Proof Eagles are a special offering by the U.S. Mint and feature a frosted background with a mirror-like finish on the raised parts of the coin.
