BUT if your mother is a small time collector or beginner, she will be more than happy with the Silver Eagle $1. Why not get her the Silver Eagle now and start saving for the Gold Buffalo for a gift NEXT year ! It's a win win situation for both of you. If you are financially stable and money is NOT the object then get one now and the next for her at the next gift giving holiday of your choice. Either way she will love what you give her...
